The role involves leading efforts to improve Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) practices across the Philippines Logistics Team, aiming to reduce claims, losses, and ensure safety standards at all facilities. Key responsibilities include driving on-the-ground HSSE improvements, reporting performance to senior management, and implementing HSSE policies and local regulations (e.g., fire safety, hazardous substances, and occupational diseases). The role also involves overseeing security systems such as CCTV and access control, managing local service providers to comply with safety protocols, and auditing compliance with safety standards.

Additional duties include conducting HSSE risk assessments, developing training materials with the Learning & Development team, analyzing incident reports for improvement opportunities, and leading investigations into security or safety incidents. The role also includes managing the HSSE team, ensuring their development and alignment with team goals.

Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders is essential to improve operational processes and minimize loss. Building relationships with local authorities and providing crisis management recommendations are also part of the job. The role involves working with the regional HSSE team to implement and maintain ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 certifications and supporting HSSE initiatives from regional and venture teams.

- Analyse guardforce metrics and gaps including effectiveness and efficiency on posting/s and headcount.
- Co-review Security Agency Performance
- Co-lead as appropriate on investigation for direct and non direct employees involved in theft, code of conduct breach and other related cases and recommend course of action.
- Review & evaluate and recommend effectiveness of learning and development programs for the personnel in HSSE related courses.

Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of working experience in local security & logistics industry.
- Qualified ISO 45001 or 14001 auditor (lead auditor preferred)
- Knowledge and familiarity in Technology/e-commerce industries is an added advantage
- Ability to think strategically about business, develop solution strategies around customer objective in complex situation, design, drive implementation per customer requirement and deliver result.
- Track record of managing cross fucntional teams to drive and compete time sensitive projects.
- Highly analytical with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen
- Take charge in situation of ambiguity and adapt quickly to fast-paced environment.
- TAPA Certified is an advantage
- Atleast college degree with experience in Security in Logistics/Warehousing industry, Masters Degree is an advantage
