OVERALL JOB PURPOSE As a Hub Lead will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operational efficiency and service delivery of our hub. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with operational policies, and optimizing processes to enhance productivity and service quality.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Operational Management:
• Lead Last Mile end-to-end processes, ensuring efficient parcel handling and delivery.
• Manage hub operations including service compliance, fair allocation, and balancing management.
• Oversee timekeeping, deployment, and depletion of resources to maintain operational effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with daily Get Zone requirements and monitor staff attendance and scheduling (WFM).
• Conduct daily GEMBA walks to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as SDOD%, FAS%, FD%, productivity, and delivery hours.
• Manage inventory cycles and ensure accurate parcel tracking and reporting, including managing backlogs and aging parcels.
• Coordinate with Finance for COD processes, including bank deposit approvals and cash handling audits.
Team Leadership and Development:
• Supervise and support hub staff, ensuring adherence to operational policies and processes.
• Facilitate training and development programs to enhance team skills and performance.
• Collaborate with Hub Supervisor to optimize operational programs and expand service coverage.
Facility and Resource Management:
• Liaise with lessors and internal teams for hub facility concerns, ensuring operational continuity.
• Manage hub transfers or splits, coordinating equipment, supplies, manpower, and IT requirements.
Process Optimization:
• Standardize and simplify hub processes to improve compliance, efficiency, and service quality.
• Implement and monitor tactical plans for resource allocation based on fluctuating volumes.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to track service, productivity, efficiency, and costs.
• Update the Daily Dashboard and conduct briefings to communicate performance trends and gather feedback.
Emergency Preparedness and Business Continuity:
• Execute Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and ensure readiness for emergency situations.
KEY DECISIONS

• Provides leadership for the team, manages the performance and responsibilities of everyone in the group.
• Must communicate with internal & external contacts and build network effectively on behalf of the organization.
• Hub Manager represents and speak for LogOps and so is responsible for transmitting information about the organization and its goals to it’s service partners/couriers.

3. 5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing or e-commerce industry
