he overall job purpose is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the hub by strategic planning, execution, and optimization strategies. Focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, service quality, and cost-effectiveness. The Hub Supervisor collaborates closely with the Cluster Manager and internal/external stakeholders to achieve operational excellence.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
The role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Tactical hub planning in terms of resources (workforce, equipment, space, etc.) in line with fluctuations in weekly/monthly volume.
Establishing and keeping track of daily/weekly/monthly hub performance reports in terms of services, productivity, efficiency, and cost.
Updating the Daily Dashboard and conducting daily pre-work briefings to share performance trends, giving and receiving feedback from hub staff.
Establishing good communication and relationships with internal and external parties.
Analyzing issues and working closely with the Hub Manager for corrective and preventive solutions.
Assisting the Hub Manager in managing hub operational processes, compliance, and process optimization.
Monitoring and updating hub operational performance in terms of service, cost, productivity, and efficiency.
Ensuring Couriers are allocated/assigned the minimum quantity of parcels per Courier type requirements.
Monitoring the parcel inbound and sorting process to ensure parcels are accurately and completely sorted within the allocated timeframe and before cutoff times to achieve KPI.
Monitoring of the exception parcel segregation, ensuring accurate and complete performance within allocated timelines and at designated locations.
Facilitating and monitoring the validity of inbound exceptions left at the Hub floor daily and ensuring the event capture process is performed accurately and completed.
Facilitating and monitoring the effective implementation of reattempt follow-up activity and updates.
Monitoring the RS creation and ensuring accurate and complete handover of physical parcels are recorded.
Monitoring of the failed delivery parcels returned by Couriers, ensuring the Runsheet Check-In process is performed accurately and completely.
Requirements/Qualifications(must have):
o Leadership: Should possess leadership qualities to guide and motivate their team members. This includes the ability to delegate tasks, provide clear directions, and inspire collaboration and teamwork
o Project Management: Manager often oversee multiple projects or initiatives. Need to have a strong project management skills to plan, organize, and coordinate resources, timelines, and deliverables.
o Problem-Solving: Should be adept at analyzing complex situations, identifying problems, and proposing effective solutions. Should have the ability to think critically and make decisions quickly to address service-related challenges.
o Financial Management: Should have knowledge of budgeting, cost management, and financial planning to ensure that service delivery stays within budget and aligns with financial goals.

o Client Relationship Management: Need a strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with clients. They should be able to understand client requirements, manage expectations, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the service delivery process.
o Continuous Improvement: Should have a mindset of continuous improvement. Should proactively identify areas for improvement, implement process enhancements, and drive efficiency in service delivery.
o Technical Knowledge: While not always required to be hands-on with technical aspects, having a good understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies can be valuable in understanding the service delivery landscape and effectively communicate with technical teams.
