The role
- Senior leadership role responsible for aligning the company's sales and operational processes with business goals, while continuously improving processes and driving service excellence across the organization.
- Responsible for driving alignment between sales forecasts, operational capacity, and performance metrics to ensure the company's strategic goals are achieved.
- Oversees the continuous improvement of processes, performance management systems, and KPIs to enhance overall organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Leads performance improvement initiatives, fosters a culture of operational excellence, and ensures that the company meets and exceeds customer expectations.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Network teams to ensure alignment on sales demand and logistics capacity.
- Lead the demand planning and forecasting process to accurately project sales and align with logistics capability.
- Align sales, operations, and financial plans to meet the company's cost and profitability goals.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions and demand variability to ensure business continuity.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure the success of S&OP processes, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
- Lead initiatives to continuously improve processes across operations, and supply chain functions, aiming to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and enhance service quality.
- Lead efforts to standardize and streamline processes across the organization, ensuring consistency, scalability, and efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies focused on delivering world-class service to customers, ensuring that all operational processes are aligned to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field
- 5-10 years of leadership experience in Sales and Operations Planning, Performance Management, Process Improvement, or Customer Service leadership roles.
- Good knowledge and understanding of logistics industry and practices, working experience in a well-established 3PL or e-commerce company is a plus
- Process oriented and KPI driven with strong expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to use data to drive performance and service improvement decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels.
