Team & Role
This role reports to the ISC Lead handling different vendors reliant on international supply chain.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
The Key Account Manager drives the overall growth of assigned accounts through managing and expanding relationships with high growth potential vendors; both brands and sellers. They will be responsible for assortment expansion, account management, sales analysis, and be involved in functions such as marketing and platform operations.
Client Consultant
• Engage with vendors to understand their business goals, needs, and preferences and aligning them with platform initiatives.
• Provide knowledge about fundamental e-commerce practices to grow on the platform
Program Specialist
• Stay informed and critical on Lazada’s products, services and programs being offered to partners
• Explain the features, benefits, and terms of such programs to vendors
Financial Planner
• Collaborate with vendors to develop personalized P&L plans based on their objectives
• Provide insights on how Lazada programs can align with and contribute to vendors’ financial goals
Relationship Manager
• Conduct regular in-person visits to vendor locations to strengthen relationships and gain insights into their operations
• Act as the primary point of contact for vendors to address any concerns related to programs, sponsored solutions, campaigns, or logistics; among others
Risk Assessor
• Evaluate the risk tolerance and financial situation of vendors to recommend suitable programs
Qualifications & Skills
• Proven track record of successful negotiations and relationship, program, and project management
• Can easily build rapport and relationship to assigned brands and sellers in the sub-category
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both spoken and written Mandarin, enabling effective liaison with Mandarin-speaking vendors
• Ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset
• Willingness to travel for on-site seller visits, field sales experience is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (preferred)
• Strong understanding of e-commerce operations and marketplace dynamics (preferred)
