The role
We are seeking a Seller Onboarding Specialist to join Lazada's Commercial team, specifically within the Business Development (BD) function. The BD team is a dynamic group of business strategists, data analysts, and marketing experts responsible for driving mass seller acquisition, onboarding, and incubation initiatives. As a Seller Onboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the successful onboarding of new sellers onto the Lazada platform. This role involves managing and optimizing the entire onboarding process, overseeing BPO operations, and leading marketing initiatives to engage and educate sellers.
Qualifications & Skills
- Onboarding Process Management and Efficiency Improvement:
○ Review and Improve Overall Onboarding Process: Conduct regular audits and assessments of the current onboarding process to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
○ Continuously Improve UX of Onboarding Modules and Task Cards: Collaborate with regional team to refine and enhance the user experience of onboarding modules and task cards, ensuring they are intuitive and user-friendly.
○ Utilize Mass Seller Communication Tools: Leverage mass communication tools to send targeted messages and notifications that guide sellers through the onboarding process, provide updates, and drive specific objectives.
- Manpower Management:
○ Oversee BPO Operations related to Onboarding and Validation: Manage and coordinate with BPO partners to ensure that onboarding and validation processes are executed efficiently and effectively.
○ Engage with Outsourced Manpower: Work closely with outsourced personnel to set clear expectations, provide training, and monitor performance to ensure alignment with onboarding goals.
- Leads Marketing:
○ A/B Test Copies to Check Efficiency: Conduct A/B testing on communication copies to determine which versions are most effective in achieving onboarding goals.
○ Direct Marketing to Generate Leads: Develop and implement email and other channel marketing campaigns to generate leads and engage potential sellers.
○ Partnership with Companies and Agencies: Form partnerships with companies and agencies to enable and educate sellers, providing them with the resources and knowledge needed to succeed on the platform.
○ Online Community Management: Foster and manage online communities to support, educate, and engage sellers, encouraging them to share best practices and success stories.
○ Lead Open House Events for Interested Leads: Organize and lead open house events for potential sellers, providing them with valuable insights and guidance to help them get started on the platform.

- Knowledge in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation).
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering or a related field.
