Job Description
We are looking for an entrepreneurial and driven candidate for the role – Account Growth Manager to drive the performance of targeted sellers. You will ensure our sellers are equipped with the available seller tools, promotions, and strategies to maximize their business on the platform, while maintaining the platform’s customer service standards and policies. You are expected to work closely with relevant internal teams to support and execute the growth strategy of sellers on Lazada.
 
- Build and manage relationships with our sellers to negotiate promotions, marketing spends, selling strategies, and more, to achieve commercial and operational excellence, and ultimately help them grow their business. 
- Ensure Lazada has the assortment and best prices in the market by leveraging on competitive intelligence. 
- Support the execution of growth strategies and frameworks cross-functionally with internal teams. E.g. Proactively seek out opportunities to boost our sellers’ visibility and performance through implementing campaigns and traffic initiatives. 
- Ensure our sellers achieve the required service standards as defined by the platform guidelines and policies.
- Other adhoc responsibilities and tasks disseminated by internal stakeholders.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate has demonstrated business judgment with a desire to actively manage and grow your own business. You must be a team player and demonstrate a passion for working cross-functionally to achieve own and team KPIs. You must be self-motivated and able to quickly dive deep into data to determine root causes of problems and implement scalable solutions. You will have a strong interest in eCommerce and sales, with a desire to actively manage and grow your portfolio. You have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills coupled with a mastery of office and data analytics.

- Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business, or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table & vLookup) and Microsoft PowerPoint with good sensitivity to data
- Minimum of 1 to 3 year(s) of working experience in the related fields relating to account management, or customer service, ideally in e-commerce industry. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience in eCommerce are highly encouraged to apply.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing and persuading key decision-makers, and the ability to interact with a broad set of businesses and stakeholders. Comfortably and effectively present over the phone, virtually through video calls or face-to-face in person.
- Tenacity to develop ideas and problem-solve independently, and creatively, and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment. Ability to manage and lead projects will be a plus.
- Familiarity with the e-commerce market, in-depth understanding of the Lazada platform, and a good sense of market insights.
- A good team player with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, and a high personal standard for the quality of execution will be ideal.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
