• Manage assigned categories and Brand partners and ensure them to achieve commercial and operational excellence on Lazada, while alsodeveloping the product portfolio for assigned categories, ensuring a balanced mix of demand and profitability
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies, and align them to internal strategies.
• Act as single point of contact for Brands related to the assigned categories. To give them performance analysis and provide solutions to their current business problems or their additional inquiries.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing & other promo mechanics, as well as Trading Terms, while maintaining strong relationships.
• Educate brands on Lazada platform promotional tools, features & policies-- and engage them to participate in campaigns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operation, Marketing, and Campaign team, to ensure smooth operational and campaign execution.
• Monitor sales performance and inventory levels, adjusting purchasing strategies to maximize profitability and minimize out-of-stock and overstock.
• Onboard new principal and negotiate new Trading Term
• Able to lead project and innitiatives to achieve a breakthrough in the online marketplace industry
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
2. More than 3 years of experience in retail buying, preferably in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
3. Solid understanding of the Indonesian retail market and customer preferences.
4. Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and manage vendor relationships.
5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make them visually presentable
6. Experience using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional team.
8. Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.
