1. Evaluate and assess potential automation technologies and solutions suitable for enhancing operational efficiency and accuracy.
2. Lead feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed automation projects, presenting recommendations to senior management.
3. Act as the project manager for selected automation initiatives, overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation from conception to implementation.
4. Serve as the key point of contact between internal teams (procurement, IT, operations), external vendors, and consultants to communicate requirements, negotiate contracts, and manage expectations.
5. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate training programs to ensure smooth adoption of new automation systems by operations teams.
6. Continuously monitor automation performance post-implementation, identifying areas for further optimization and ROI measurement.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics, and/or supply chain automation, preferably within an express logistics or similar high-volume environment.
• Familiarity with automation technologies and their applications within the logistics industry.
• Experience working with international vendors and managing cross-border projects is a plus.
• Proven project management abilities, including PMP certification or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically while executing tactically in a fast-paced environment.
