Team and Role Introduction:
Ensures end-to-end Sortation Processes are enforced, complied and to report any deviations to Manager (Sortation). Reports directly to Sort Manager. Monitoring and Planning Manpower day to day and ensure all daily tasks can achieve target in each day.
Responsibilities:
· Planning about manpower usage in each day· Ensure jobs/tasks achieve as our target in each day.· Understand the coarse, middle and fine sort processes of the sortation center· Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the work is not interrupted.· Ensures that all bulky shipments and non-conveyable are properly volumetric computed using electronic scales.· Ensure that all shipments are sorted and handed over to Outbound Team by agreed cut-off times.· Conducts shift handing / taking over briefing sessions· Provide management with end of day / shift handover information.· Maintains Sortation staff job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.· Do the reports/tasks as assigned.· Responsible all tasks in case manager is off/away.· Others as assign by manager.
Requirements/Qualifications(must have):
· Supervisory experience at least 3 years is required· Safety Management,· Ability to manage large groups of people.· Good understanding of shipment handling and stacking methods· Ability to handle motorised MHEs e.g. Electric pallet jacks, forklifts, etc., is preferred · Good communication and relationship· High sense of responsibility· Able to work at night shift· Flexible in working hours when required.
Requirements/Qualifications(good to have):
· Experience with E-logistics field.
