Team and Role Introduction:

Responsibilities:
-Own data pipelines for the regional financial reporting in Lazada feeding into custom build data products
-Work alongside business teams to identify critical data needs as well as upstream data and tech teams to ensure these data needs are met
-Contribute to designing Lazada Finance's data architecture and models ensuring data quality and availability
-Create data product solutions for the visualization of financial data for business users
-Document work done to allow for cross-functional collaboration, train business users on available data and tools and consult them on how to get the desired results

Requirements/Qualifications(must have):
-A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Finance, Mathematics or related field
-At least 5-7 years of experience in data warehouse development (ETL) or big data.
-Strong experience in designing and developing data warehouses within the big data ecosystem
-Preferably: Experience in the field of Finance/eCommerce data (such as month end closing and the generation of P&L statements) and Finance applications (SAP, Anaplan)
-Hands-on work and communication experience with business users, ability to translate their requirements into actions.
-Mandatory technical expertise: SQL. Added value: Python, Java, BI-Applications
-Languages: English. Chinese would be a clear plus
