Team and Role Introduction:
Lazada.com.ph is the country’s leading online shopping and selling destination. Lazada continues to offer a wide assortment to its customers and retail solutions to its brands and sellers with the end goal of providing superior value.The Payments team is a growing business unit under LazPay Philippines Payments and Partnerships, and works with partners across financial services and fintech. The team aims to grow its existing businesses and build new ones as part of Lazada's growth story in the Philippines.
Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of business targets for LazPay Philippines
- Work closely as a thought and business partner with the SVP for payments and partnerships
- Take broader and higher level view of the LazPay payments business and manage approach to hit OKRs set by HQ
- Coach and mentor team of more junior associates in Payments team, contribute to overall team development for Lazpay
- Manage and oversee end to end non-cash on delivery payment flows within Lazada including cards, digital wallets, and in-house payment methods
- Oversee and manage projects involving integration with new and existing payment partners
- Conceptualize and implement campaigns that help drive penetration of Non Cash On Delivery
- Prepare for and assist with the implementation of regular campaigns and initiatives
- Assisting with the preparation of contractual agreements and ensure that these are fully adhered to
- Drive win-win negotiations between Lazada and partners
- Support Lazpay Country Head in engaging with regulators and industry organizations as needed
- Contribute to payments performance management and deliver insights to senior management
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders including business workstreams, marketing, operations, product, engineering, regional business development, finance and legal
- Identify and champion product improvements- Any other duties that may be assigned

Requirements/Qualifications(must have):
- Bachelor's/College Degree; Master’s degree nice to have
- Strong analytical skills- Previous experience in banking, especially transaction banking and remittance would be highly valued. Plus points if candidate has e-commerce and digital wallets experience
- Big plus if applicant has experience in the payments function of an e-commerce player.
- Flexible, adaptive and versatile. Needs to be able to slot into different teams.
- Innovative problem-solving skills; dissect and determine root causes of problems and implement solutions
- Possess superb business judgment with a desire to manage your own business
- The individual should have a proven track record of successful negotiations and relationship management (both internal and external).
- Previous experience as a project manager for digital payment projects

Requirements/Qualifications(good to have):
▪ Experience using SQL and Python for data analysis is a plus; must be able to craft the so-what and key takeaways from the analysis
